  Attorneys can be intimidating but Mr. Skinner is approachable and made me feel at ease. His office staff is professional but friendly, too. He worked hard for our family and I appreciate that.

  Mr. Skinner was recommended to me by the Bar Association and I couldn't be happier and more at peace with the work he and his staff have done on my son's case (charged with alcohol consumption by a minor). Mr. Skinner and his staff have done a highly commendable job on my son's case. He was able to reduce my son's sentence from a potentially harsh fine, lose of driving privileges or even jail time, down to a few community service hours. His strong relationships with local judges has been developed over the years as a respected attorney, someone that has integrity and is a smart negotiator. He is highly professional and gave me realistic advice as he worked through my son's case. His staff, especially Nichole, was always accessible for questions and gave me unending support throughout a very stressful time. I am grateful for Mr. Skinner's hard work and the outcome for my son. I would highly recommend Mr. Skinner.

  I am not an unreasonable human being, I knew what to expect with this case, some jail time. With that being said, people need to know what their hiring. If you are guilty of the crime accused, tread very carefully because you're considering hiring your very own prosecutor. Skinner lied to his client on several occasions, he never at any point in time made an effort to lower the kid's sentence, I have never in my life seen or heard of a lawyer being this dead set on someone doing exactly as much jail time as he saw fit. This guy can't help you, he is friends with the court house, what he gets paid for is to go approach his friends and ask them what they are willing to do since he got paid to represent someone, he will not fight, he will not attempt to negotiate, the first number the prosecutor throws out there is what you get. If you have a choice between a public defender and this guy, take the public defender because we also had that choice and God as my witness, the public defender had a better offer...and that's sad. If you have more money and can't afford to gamble with your freedom, go with the attorney charges more. Skinner charges considerably less then any other attorney around, I should have known better... you get what you pay for in life. Don't try to save $1500 and put your life in this man's hands.
